The Wanted Take Back Christina Aguilera Comments, Again

It looks like the Wanted have been feeling bad about the comments they made about singer and The Voice judge Christina Aguilera.

During an in studio interview at 92.3 NOW/New York this past April, the Wanted’s Max George was asked why he jumped off the stage to give a little hug and a kiss to American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez during their visit to the show but didn’t give the same love to Christina Aguilera when they were on The Voice.

Max replied, “She was bit scary, to be honest.”

His band mate Tom Parker jumped in to add, “She’s a total b**ch.” When pressed, he added, “She might not be a b**ch in real life but to us she was a b**ch. She just sat there and didn’t speak to us. Wouldn’t even look at us.”

Towards the end of April the Wanted had been taking some heat on the Internet for their comments. When TMZ caught up with Tom Parker he tried to shed some light on the situation.

“We shouldn’t have said it, to be honest with you,” Parker said. “We just think manners cost nothing, you know what I mean? The rest of the judges were really nice and she didn’t even talk to us, but we apologize for the comment.”

But two months after issuing that apology, the boys went right back into attack mode, with Tom Parker and his band mate Siva going so far as sticking a photo of Christina “up their arse,” as the Brits say.

So, what has caused the guys to issue another statement regarding their big mouths? Apparently it’s all thanks to comedian Chelsea Handler.

In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, Tom Parker took his words back, again, after seeing an interview with the singer that helped change his mind.

“I watched an interview with her on Chelsea Lately the other night and she came across really, really nice so I was a bit like, ‘Oh s**t!'” he said. “Maybe she was just having a bad day.”

Regarding his mood on the now infamous day that he called Christina a “b**ch,” Tom admitted, with another slip of the tongue, “I was having a terrible day… I was on my period… oh shoot, sorry I apologize!”
