Does the craze for British boy bands remind you of a certain group from the past who were also from Great Britain?
It should.
The guys of The Wanted are channeling their inner Beatles for a new alternate video to their smash single “I Found You.”
The video starts out black and white with an announcer introducing the band as if live on a telecast. Mimicking the Beatles first performance on The Ed Sullivan Show, the video soon transitions into color with shots of crazed female fans screaming while the band plays.
After the first chorus, one female fan runs on stage, followed by the rest of the audience who takeover the performance and cause the guys to run off stage to escape.
Headed to the rear exit, the guys find themselves trapped outside by more frantic female fans.
It’s here where Nathan delivers his solo while grasping a ladder and serenades the crowd followed by more shots of the guys performing on stage.
In the end, the guys escape the mob of female admirers and get into a limousine but they forget one member who is left behind running from the crowd.
Who did they leave behind? You’ll just have to watch the video to find out!
Of course there is the original video which is quite racier than this new fan version, and a completely different direction. Their new album Third Strike hits stores this year.
