Pitbull’s upcoming album Global Warming has it’s share of A-list features. Expect guest vocals from the Wanted, Christina Aguilera, Chris Brown, Usher, JLo, Shakira and many more. Mr. Worldwide recently revealed what it was like working with the Wanted on his track “Have Some Fun.“
“What I like about the Wanted is they have these huge pop records and have this pop appeal but at the same time they’re young, they’re loose, they’re getting wild out there,” he said. “They’re having a great time and I think it was just both brands fit each other when it came to Pitbull and the Wanted. What better than to have fun on a record together, take over the world together but just do it in a sexy, slick way?”
The current Rolling Stone cover boy told the magazine that “Have Some Fun” is “my Fifty Shades of Grey.”
The master of his own brand, Pitbull has numerous endorsement deals with Bud Light, Kodak, Dr Pepper, Zumba Fitness and Walmart, where Internet pranksters voted him to perform in Alaska. So what did Pitbull have to say about that experience?
“I guess they thought they were going to bully me on the Internet. Kodiak was gorgeous,” he told Rolling Stone.
With so many endorsement deals, singles and collaborations on the radio one would fear the world might be getting tired of him, but not Pitbull.
“I’m never worried about overexposing myself. That’s for the birds, man. They want new stuff all the time,” he said. “They’re trying to sell a product through my life. People believe that I have a good time. Damn right. I have the time of my life.”
Global Warming will be released on November 19th.
